Vanilla is expensive nowadays though not quite as expensive as it was for a while. This brand is good quality and is bottled in dark glass, which supposedly helps preserve the flavor. In addition to using vanilla in baking, I use a glass dropper to add a dash of vanilla to my morning coffee. The cookie vanilla is slightly sweeter than the regular Cook's vanilla because it uses Tahitian as the main type rather than Madagascar. However, it's a bit pricier.

This smells odd....not really like a good vanilla. It smells and tastes artificial.

Excellent Vanilla.
Cook's Vanilla is wonderful. I purchased one bottle for my sister and one for myself. I use vanilla quite often and Cook's works very well in all of my recipes. I usually use more than the recipe calls for because I like the taste so much.
